"History" is a song by boy band One Direction. It was released 16 January 2016 as the third and final single their fifth studio album, Made in the A.M.

The music video was published on 26 January 2016. The video features clips of the band throughout the years highlighting their tours and personal anecdotes. The video ends as the band walk off in separate directions which caused lots of rumors to start going around about if the end of the music video means the end of One direction as well. However, it was confirmed afterwards that originally they were supposed to run back together at the end of the music video..

A month later the video´s release, it became their 16th VEVO Certified music video with over 100M views.
